The ESN Culture

Digital transformation, Enterprise Social Networks and the Future of Work are all labels for similar efforts. The catalyst for success, however, is far less about technology and far more about culture. I’ll share how we quickly shifted from a focus on technology to instead leverage our need for cultural change as the secret to our success as we engage 325,000 employees and contractors on IBM Connections. Our journey started on Yammer, evolved to Jive, and found our sweet spot with Connections as the means to invest in our company’s most important and valuable assets – our team.

The State of Community Management – The Future of All Management

Community management is quickly becoming the future of all management – and leadership. The ability to inspire and engage a diverse network to solve complex problems quickly is a powerful differentiator. At the same time, the barriers to building networks are lower than ever.
You will leave this session with an understanding of the latest research and thinking about community management, based on data and conversations with hundreds of community professionals from around the globe.

About the Conference

Social Connections, the international IBM Connections and social business user group, proudly announces its 13th event. This time we return for the 4th time to North America and organize our next event in Philadelpiha, USA!

As usual, the conference will provide a two day program, filled with exciting sessions, unmatched networking opportunities and accompanying social events. There will be multiple tracks on both technical and non-technical topics such as

We start on Thursday, April 26, with keynotes delivered by world leaders on collaboration. Then we will have a full day of sessions - as always a balanced mix of topics provided by customers, IBMers, sponsors and business partners, many of them delivered by IBM champions for collaboration solutions. The formal agenda for the day will end with SpeedSponsoring (with a free bar of course), followed by the always smashing evening gala reception (location to be announced later).

On Friday 27th of April, we'll kick off with our second major keynote, followed by a full-day program that will include many fantastic breakout sessions.

Social Connections conferences provide great opportunity to learn, share knowledge and to find a new supplier or customer. As mentioned above, we have organized an optional gala reception that will allow participants to continue the days conversations in a more relaxed atmosphere. Do not miss this great opportunity to meet your favorite social champions and to have dinner together.
